Clark-Police-Headquarters-PAll persons arrested and charged with crimes are presumed innocent until proven guilty.

Dec. 3 at 10:36 a.m. - In the vicinity of Westfield Avenue, police arrested Paterson resident Jamil King, 25, who was charged with forgery and hindering apprehension. He was subsequently released pending a court date. Det. Antonio Manata was the Arresting Officer.

Dec. 3 at 10:07 p.m. - In the vicinity of Brant Avenue, police arrested Brooklyn, N.Y. resdient Marcel Torres, 27, on outstanding warrants totaling $2,493 from Carteret, Harrison, Newark, Roselle and Secaucus for contempt of court. Also arrested was Carteret resident Stephanie Parra, 25, on an outstanding warrant in the amount of $500 from Carteret, New Jersey for contempt of court. Both individuals were subsequently turned over to the Carteret Police Department. P.O. Brian Pereira was the Arresting Officer.

Dec. 5 at 1:14 p.m. - Police took a report of a burglary to a residence on the 400 block of West Lane. The incident is under investigation. P.O. Joseph Teston was the Investigating Officer.

Dec. 8 at 2:29 p.m. - Police took a report of a theft of items from a motor vehicle that was parked at Washington Street. The incident is under investigation. P.O. Marty Venezio was the Investigating Officer.
