[PHOTOS] Divided Drill Team Earns Recognition At Competitions In Two States

LINDEN – The Linden High School NJROTC drill team split its forces on Nov. 23 by sending one team to Jackson and the other to Bethel, Conn. The Bethel group consisted of the Varsity Rifle, Academics, and Inspection team along with the new cadet drill squad. The new cadets won third place in Color Guard while Cadet Lt. JG Nava won an individual third place medal in the air rifle competition.

At Jackson, in the unarmed division the team earned second place in Unarmed Inspection, third in Unarmed Regulation Drill, and third in Unarmed Exhibition, their overall consistence earned them the Unarmed Champions. In the armed division, the team won the following third place trophies, Armed Inspection, Armed Drill, Armed Exhibition, Armed Dual Exhibition. (Photos by NJROTC)
