PLAINFIELD — The family of Aaron Watkins is still looking for answers more than six years after he disappeared on Nov. 11, 2007.

Watkins was 18-years-old when left his home in Plainfield to meet a friend. He  never arrived at his destination and the car he was driving was found abandoned on the Driscoll Bridge in New Jersey with his cell phone inside.

No one reported seeing a person jump from the bridge that day. Law enforcement conducted extensive searches of the water that produced no conclusive evidence regarding what happened on the bridge. Prior to his disappearance, Watkins would frequently travel to the Palm Beach and Jacksonville, Fla. areas.

Watkins was 5 feet 6 inches and weighed 140 pounds. He had brown hair and blue eyes. When he was last seen he was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, jeans, black shoes and a green baseball hat.

The public is urged to call 1-800-THE-LOST (1-800-843-5678) with any information concerning the disappearance or current whereabouts of Aaron Watkins.  Calls may be made anonymously.
