ROSELLE PARK – On Wednesday, Dec. 4, from 6 – 8 p.m., the Casano Community Center Art Gallery will host an “Evening of Art” fundraiser for the YWCA Union County.

Digital artist Leona M Seufert, whose current exhibit at the gallery, “Reflections – Is it or isn’t it real?” will do a presentation discussing how she created her images. There will be a 50/50 raffle, and light refreshments. Admission is free.

Seufert, who is the art gallery’s founder and curator, is always interested in promoting organizations that have a good cause. She feels that “The YWCA Union County’s services fill an important need in our community. This evening’s event will be a fun way to get the message out about their comprehensive services to survivors of domestic violence and their children.”

The YWCA Union County services include Emergency Shelter, Transitional and Supportive Housing, 24-Hour Hotline, Non-Residential Counseling, PALS (Peace: A Learned Solution) Program for children, Legal Representation and Court Advocacy, Domestic Violence Response Teams (DVRT), DV Liaison Program, and Community and Professional Education. All services are free of charge and offered in both English and Spanish. Information about the YWCA Union County’s services will be available during the reception. For more information visit
