LINDEN — Councilman Derek Armstead spent part of his Thanksgiving delivering food to people in need. “This morning, I woke up thinking, how often do we pause to appreciate what we have in life? Too often, we take things for granted and forget how blessed we are,” Armstead said. “It gave me great joy this morning to deliver food and help those in need. We can all do our part to make this world a better place. This quote by Charles de Lint says it all, ‘I don’t want to live in the kind of world where we don’t look out for each other. Not just the people that are close to us, but anybody who needs a helping hand. I can’t change the way anybody else thinks, or what they choose to do, but I can do my bit.’” (Photo courtesy of Armstead.)
