CRANFORD – Kilkenny House, 112 South Ave. East (across from the NJ Transit train station), will host its fourth annual “Caroling for Cranford” fundraiser featuring the Cranford Madrigal Choir on Monday, Dec. 23, from 5 – 10 p.m. Additionally, Kilkenny House is launching its annual campaign to support Cranford Family Care’s “Toys for Tots” collection that will benefit local children. Donations can be dropped off at Kilkenny House until the Caroling event on Dec. 23.

The high school singers will entertain diners with holiday songs during three seatings at 5, 6:30 and 8 p.m. that will help raise funds for the Cranford High School music program.

“Cranford Madrigal Choir’s annual caroling event is always a highlight of the year at Kilkenny House. I am proud to host this popular fundraiser to support Cranford’s high school music education program,” said Barry O’Donovan, owner of The Kilkenny House. “Additionally, we are pleased to help Cranford Family Care’s efforts to make sure that local children receive toys for Christmas. Donations will be accepted from Dec. 1 through the conclusion of our Caroling event on Dec. 23.”

The Madrigal Choir performs in a variety of community events in Cranford throughout the year.

“Working with these kids is so inspiring. Their passion and enthusiasm for music is infectious and they bring such joy to audiences, particularly during the holiday season,” said Anthony Rafaniello, Cranford High School Choral Director. “We look forward to performing at Kilkenny House on Dec. 23.”

“The funds raised for the performing arts department will go directly to enhance our musical education program,” added Rafaniello. “It’s important to have members of the community step up to support music in our schools. I’d like to thank Barry O’Donovan and everyone at Kilkenny House for this opportunity.”
