CLARK — Students from Mother Seton Regional High School in Clark collected items to fill 45 bountiful Thanksgiving food baskets for distribution. Each homeroom, along with their moderators, collected food staples during the month of November. The project is spearheaded by Mother Seton’s student council and homeroom representatives.
Most homerooms made not one but three baskets for this year’s drive. Baskets will be distributed to needy families in the area, Saint John’s Food Pantry in Clark-Linden, and Saint Joseph’s Social Service Center in Elizabeth.
The Religion department prepared a Thanksgiving Prayer Service, attended by students, faculty and staff. Reflections of gratitude were submitted by the students and included in the prayer service. The Seton Ensemble and the Gospel Choir provided musical accompaniment.
