Celtic Woman Will Bring Christmas Show To State Theatre

celtic-womanNEW BRUNSWICK—State Theatre will present Celtic Woman: Home for Christmas, The Symphony Tour on Tuesday, Dec. 10, at 8 p.m. The all-female Irish music quartet will be accompanied by a full symphony orchestra; the program will include songs from their hit Christmas albums including “I’ll Be Home for Christmas,” “Silent Night,” “Carol of the Bells,” “White Christmas,” and more. Tickets range from $35-95.

Under the direction of David Downes, Celtic Woman has sold over six million records world-wide since 2004. The group’s repertoire ranges from tradition Irish music to modern songs. The women who currently comprise the ensemble are Lisa Lambe, Susan McFadden, Máiréad Carlin, and fiddler Máiréad Nesbitt.
