EDISON — Ametij Sappal of Edison and Nate Valcourt of South Plainfield, fourth grade students at The Wardlaw-Hartridge School in Edison, join teacher Ellen Colandrea of North Plainfield to make Pico de Gallo. The students learned to make this Mexican fresh salsa as part of the STEM unit “from seeds to the table”. Students followed directions in Spanish to prepare this recipe and are now able to make this tasty treat for their families at home. (Photo courtesy of Wardlaw-Hartridge School)
