Woman Carjacked Outside Elizabeth Supermarket

police-tape-200x67ELIZABETH – A 46-year-old woman was carjacked in the parking lot of an Elizabeth supermarket last week, according to a Star-Ledger report.

The victim was loading groceries into her white Mercedes M35 around 2 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 14 outside the Stop & Shop at the corner of Newark and North avenues, when a man approached her with a gun. The man demanded her purse and keys, and he drove North on Newark Avenue, according to the report. The victim was not injured.
