Perth Amboy Police Arrest Pennsylvania Man With $10,800 Worth Of Cocaine

PERTH AMBOY — Members of the Perth Amboy Police Department’s Special Investigations Bureau arrested a 26-year-old Allentown, Pa. man on Nov.7 after seizing approximately 108 grams of cocaine.

Aneudy Martinez-Castillo was charged with possession of cocaine, possession of cocaine with the intent to distribute over a half ounce of cocaine, and possession of cocaine with the intent to distribute within 500 feet of a public park.

Police made the arrest after conducting an investigation and recovering the drugs with an approximate street value of $10,800 from the suspect in the parking lot of a Taco Bell restaurant on Convery Boulevard. Judge Allen Comba set bail at $75,000.

Detective Sergeant Carmelo Jimenez Jr. led the investigation.

The charges against Martinez-Castillo are merely accusations; he is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
