Mayor Thanks State Senator For Leading Clark Students’ Statehouse Tour

TRENTON — Clark Mayor Sal Bonaccorso and his fourth grade son, Joey, present state Sen. Christopher “Kip” Bateman with a vintage photograph as a token of thanks for a personalized tour of the New Jersey Statehouse last week. Bateman had provided the fourth grade classes from Frank K. Hehnly School with a personalized visit to both the General Assembly and Senate Chambers in the Statehouse, where the fourth graders could sit in the actual seats of members of the General Assembly and Senate. After the presentation in the General Assembly, Mayor Bonaccorso and Joey presented Bateman with a 1958 wire photo of his father, Raymond Bateman, after his election to the Assembly.
