YMCA Of Eastern Union County Announces Food Drive

YMCA-of-Eastern-Union-County-Food-DriveUNION COUNTY – The YMCA of Eastern Union County is collecting non-perishable food items and toiletries for those in need in our area this winter.

Items needed include all non-perishable food items (canned or boxed food) soups, tuna, cereal, oatmeal, pasta, tomato sauce, chili, peanut butter, jelly, etc. Toiletries and personal care items such as toothpaste, toothbrush, soap, shampoo, shaving cream, disposable razors, diapers, wipes, etc. are also needed. Items will be distributed to neighbors in need in the local community.

Donated items can be dropped off at any of the YMCA of Eastern Union County’s four branches through Dec. 13:

  • Elizabeth Branch – 135 Madison Avenue, Elizabeth
  • Rahway Branch – 1564 Irving Street, Rahway
  • Five Points Branch – 201 Tucker Avenue, Union
  • Wellness Center Branch – 1000 Galloping Hill Road, Union
