PERTH AMBOY — During the months of October and November, Perth Amboy Catholic School nurse Linda Dougherty, R.N. and gym teacher Louis Kolomatis organized an anti-drug campaign to help the students stay away from drugs.

Activities included making a banner and signing Red Ribbons that read ” I am a 100% Drug Free Kid.” The students also participated in “Slam Dunk, Drugs are Junk”, where they made free throw shots and played a competitive basketball game. Dougherty and Kolomatis ran a teaching session and open discussion to make Perth Amboy Catholic School students aware of the dangers of drugs.

Students at Perth Amboy Catholic School Primary Campus celebrated Red Ribbon Week – ” I Am a 100% Drug Free Kid” under the guidance of Linda Dougherty, RN, school nurse.
