Elizabeth Man Pleads “Not Guilty” To Girlfriend’s Murder

ELIZABETH – A 56-year-old city man pleaded “not guilty” to fatally stabbing his girlfriend in the Maple Avenue apartment they shared last week, according to a Star-Ledger report.

Garardo Depaola is charged with first-degree murder in the death of Maria Osnayo, 56, who was killed sometime last week. Her body was discovered on Nov. 2 when her adult son checked her apartment after being unable to reach her by phone.
