MIDDLESEX COUNTY – Woodbridge Council President Charles Kenny, who just won election to a full term on the Middlesex County Board of Chosen Freeholders on Tuesday, will be sworn in as the board’s newest member on Thursday.
Kenny will resign from the council prior to being sworn in to serve the final two months of the late Stephen “Pete” Dalina’s term.
Dalina, who had been the board’s longest-serving member, died suddenly on Oct. 5, leaving the vacancy. The 83-year-old Democrat planned to step down from elected office at the end of his term and did not seek re-election.
