PERTH AMBOY — Middlesex County Freeholder Director Ronald G. Rios speaks in Perth Amboy on Thursday to urge voters to support a minimum wage increase in New Jersey. Ballot Question # 2 on Tuesday’s general election ballot asks residents to raise the New Jersey minimum wage from $7.25 to $8.25 an hour and adjust it annually based on the Consumer Price Index.  The Middlesex County Freeholder Board unanimously passed a resolution to support a minimum wage increase, joining with an overwhelming majority of the residents of the State of New Jersey.
