Union County College’s Men’s Soccer Team Are Garden State Athletic Conference Co-Champions

CRANFORD – The Union County College Men’s Soccer team defeated Cumberland County College on Sunday, Oct. 13, by a score of 8-2. With this win, they secured a co-championship title of the Garden State Athletic Conference. The team is co-champions this year with Camden County College.

During the game, Carl Lohier (of Rahway) scored two goals. Marc Desir (of Roselle), Makenson Joseph (of Hillside), Matthew Ramirez (of Roselle Park), Serge Idevert (of Phillipsburg), Alfred Santhonax (of Irvington), and David Zorilla (of Elizabeth), all scored one goal. Patrick Costa (of Union), along with Marc Desir, Richard Ortiz (of Elizabeth), Walter Franco (of Elizabeth), and David Zorilla each earned one assist during the game. Alfred Santhonax earned two assists during the game.
