Oct. 15 at 10:52 p.m.In the vicinity of Valley Road, police arrested Elizabeth resident John Fernandez, 40, on outstanding warrants from Linden and Elizabeth totaling $583 for contempt of court. He was subsequently turned over to the Linden Police Department. P.O. Kenneth Gaulette was the Arresting Officer.

Oct. 17 at 1:09 a.m.In the vicinity of Gibson Boulevard, police arrested Toms River resident Paul Anderson, 29, who was charged with drug possession, drug distribution and possession of a hypodermic needle. He was subsequently transported to the Union County Jail. P.O. Kenneth Gaulette was the Arresting Officer.

Oct. 17 at 1:52 p.m.At the Woodbridge Police Department, police arrested Winfield resident Raymond Dunsavage, 41, who was charged with theft. He was subsequently released on his own recognizance pending a court date. Det. George Marmarou was the Arresting Officer.

Oct. 19 at 12:03 a.m.In the vicinity of 1200 block of Westfield Avenue, police arrested Scotch Plains resident Alfred Voelker, 19, on an outstanding warrant from Westfield in the amount of $728 for contempt of court. He was subsequently turned over to the Westfield Police Department. P.O. Brian Soos was the Arresting Officer.

Oct. 19 at 2:45 a.m.In the vicinity of Valley Road, police arrested Cranford resident Jason Jeney, 25, who was charged with DUI. He was subsequently released pending a court date. P.O. Christian Lott was the Arresting Officer.

Oct. 19 at 2:52 a.m.Police took a report of a theft of items from a motor vehicle that was parked at a residence on the 200 block of Gibson Boulevard. The incident is under investigation. P.O. Brian Soos was the Investigating Officer.

Oct. 19 at 1:40 p.m. –  At 45 Central Avenue, police arrested Brooklyn, N.Y. resident Amoo Akinyele, 42, who was charged with credit card theft and conspiracy. Also arrested was Brooklyn, N.Y. resident Hakeem Olajide, 43, single, who was also charged with credit card theft and conspiracy. Both men were subsequently released pending court dates. P.O. Marty Venezio was the Arresting Officer.
