LINDEN — The Linden High School Girls varsity volleyball team is off to the best start in school history. Seniors Samantha Bowbliss, Gissela Roberts, and Ashley Robles have guided the team to a 11-1 record. Junior Captain Sophia Morin broke the school’s assist record this season and sophomore Jameela Burnham has emerged as the team’s leading hitter.
The team will be hosting their inaugural “Dig Pink” volleyball match against Oak Knoll High School Friday, Oct. 25 at Linden High School. Proceeds from the match will be donated to the Side-Out Foundation, a charity that raises money for breast cancer awareness and research.
