ROSELLE– Central Park Bar Restaurant Sushi launched a fundraising program this week in support of United Way of Greater Union County (UWGUC) Annual Campaign.

New to the United Way movement, the campaign will run for 3-4 weeks at each location across Union County retail and restaurant industries. Participating companies will include supermarkets, convenience stores, restaurants, bars, retailers and other retail businesses across Union County, North and South Plainfield. The UWGUC is currently confirming new locations and will list them on www.uwguc.org as they confirm.

The first to start their campaign is Central Park Bar Restaurant Sushi, who will actively promote and sell to its patrons a choice of $1, $3 and $5 mobile pin-ups. Customers will then be asked to sign the mobiles to be displayed on a special wall in support of UWGUC. Central Park will run the campaign through Nov. 17.

“My staff and I are very active, as a business, in our community, and I’m really looking forward to helping the United Way of Greater Union County. They do so much for Union County residents and its important to support them,” says Louis Andrianos, the owner of Central Park Bar Restaurant Sushi.

Proceeds from the mobile campaign will be used to support the work of UWGUC and its mission of ensuring that everyone in Greater Union County, and North and South Plainfield, have the necessary opportunities, relationships and networks to support the success of their family.

United Way will provide prize incentives to employees who sell the most mobiles and everyone will become a part of the Live United community by wearing the signature t-shirt.

“We are very excited to partner with Central Park. Not only is it a very popular location in Union County, this gives us an opportunity to build awareness, among a new set of donors, about our cause to strengthen families,” states James W. Horne, President/CEO, United Way of Greater Union County.
