RAHWAY — On Monday, Oct. 28, at 6:30 p.m. the Rahway Public Library will be hosting “Your Personal Carbon Footprint”, a workshop and discussion lead by Dr. Laura Knipmeyer.

After attending the program, you will be able to get past the questions like “Paper or plastic?” and determine for yourself which daily living choices have the greatest impact on the environment. Your personal carbon footprint calculator is a measuring tool. No higher math is required.

Knipmeyer will step through examples with the audience and attendees can work on their own worksheets to take home. Those who attend will emerge with concrete ideas of what they can–and want– to improve. If you have ever wondered what greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions have to do with you, your wallet, or your neighborhood, this workshop is for you. There will be no shame, no blame, and no politics. Your heating and electric bills will be useful but not required.

Registration is encouraged. Sign up at the library or call 732-340-1551 x 212.
