SPRINGFIELD – The Pike family, missionaries to Latin America, will visit Calvary Assembly of God on Sunday, Oct. 20, at 6 p.m. for the church’s monthly Missionary Sunday service.
Tim, Beth and Christina Pike mainly work with an immigrant Hispanic population on the mostly English-speaking island of Antigua. They started a Bible school, which has an enrollment of 56 students, and conduct street outreach, evangelism and ministry to the homeless. They also assist with church planting efforts in the surrounding islands.
Calvary Assembly of God is affiliated with the Assemblies of God, headquartered in Springfield, Mo. It is pastored by Rev. John Bechtel, with Rev. Joshua Bechtel serving as assistant pastor and worship leader.
Worship services are held on Sundays at 10:30 a.m. and 6 p.m. Sunday school for all ages is at 9:30 a.m. There is a midweek praise and Bible study on Wednesdays at 7:30 p.m. and a youth ministry program on Wednesdays and Fridays at 7:30 p.m. For more information, visit www.CalvaryAssembly.tv or call 973-467-4600.
