Cranford Library Plans Demonstrations Of Online Catalog System

CRANFORD—Learn how to use the Cranford Public Library’s online public access catalog (PAC) to search the library collection, place reserves, renew items, create reading lists, check on fines and fees, and maintain a permanent list of the items you have borrowed.

The program will feature a live demonstration of the PAC. If you have a laptop with Wi-Fi capability, you are welcome to bring it. There will be two sessions, each of which will cover the same material. The first will take place on Friday, Nov. 1, at 2 p.m., the second, on Wednesday, Nov. 6, at 7:30 p.m. The sessions will be held in the Cranford Community Center, which is located at 220 Walnut Avenue.

Registration is required. To register, call the library at 908-709-7272, ext. 2102, email the library at library@cranfordnj.org, or stop by the reference desk. The library is located at 224 Walnut Avenue. When registering, provide your name, email address, and phone number, and indicate which session you wish to attend. The program is free and all are welcome.
