CLARK — Though the forecast called for bad weather, Clark enjoyed three beautiful days for the 7th Annual Clark UNICO Italian American Feast. Organization President Ralph Bernardo was thrilled with the record number of attendees.
The feast brought back favorites including rides, games, TV raffle, beer, wine, crafts, novelties, 50/50 and food vendors with a great selection such as sausage and peppers, zeppoles, funnel cake, seafood, barbecue, pizza, gyros, funnel cake, pastries, pastas, ice cream and more. Several bands, including Brother John Brown, Jimmy Alleva, oldies group Sounds of the Street, Italian Roving Minstrels and Angelo Gentile provided continuous entertainment.
The annual feast is Clark UNICO’s largest fundraiser. “Last year we gave back in excess of $32,000 to the township of Clark in donations and scholarships,” Bernardo said. He thanked the 120 volunteers that helped make the feast happen.
