Edison Police Officer Accused Of Propositioning Woman He Met On Emergency Call

EDISON – A 39-year-old Edison police officer allegedly returned to the scene of an emergency call to proposition a woman for sex, according to a Star-Ledger report.

Anthony Sarni was still in uniform when he went back to the Extended Stay America hotel in Edison’s Raritan Center after his shift ended to find the woman who he met earlier that night when responding to a disturbance there, according to the report.

The woman filed a complaint against the officer, who was suspended with pay and would be fired if found guilty at a departmental hearing, according to the report.
