RAHWAY — Golfers enjoyed a great day as they teed off at RWJ Rahway Foundation’s 30th Anniversary Golf Classic at Echo Lake Country Club in Westfield last month. “It was a great day for the hospital and to celebrate our golf outing that began 30 years ago by the Rahway Kiwanis Club,” said Marlene H. Lubinger, Foundation President.

Kevin Headd, Golf Classic Co-Chair said, “We are so grateful to Prudential Retirement for once again supporting our outing through a Title Sponsorship and to Anton Tansil, our Honorary Golf Chairman,” adding his appreciation to the Golf Committee for their dedication and hard work to raise funds to benefit the hospital and its patients. The event raised more than $128,000 for RWJ Rahway.

In addition to Prudential Retirement, other special sponsors of the Golf Classic included Classic Sponsor, Rahway Pathology, P.A.; Fairway Sponsor, QualCare, Inc. and Bogey Sponsors, Emergency Medical Associates of New Jersey, K & L Gates, New York Radiology Alliance and Rahway Regional Cancer Center.

Hole-in-one sponsors were Martin Jewelers of Cranford and Ray Catena Infiniti of Edison.

The Chipping Contest, sponsored by Station Cab, Rahway, was won by Kevin Kramer, Esq., Vice President Legal Affairs, RWJ Rahway. First prize in the Putting Contest, sponsored by Chen, Wang & Guarino, M.D., P.A., was won by Wayne Kalwaytis, QualCare, Inc. and second prize went to John O’Malley from the CBIZ/EAO Benefits foursome.
