OLD BRIDGE – Police arrested a man suspected of robbing two banks while he was waiting at a bus stop near Ticetown Square yesterday, according to an NJ.com report.
Anthony Joseph Hart, 23, of Old Bridge, is accused of robbing the Sovereign Bank branch in the A&P shopping center on Route 9, not far from the bus stop, according to the report. When police searached him, they found money from the bank in his sock.
Hart is also accused of robbing a TD Bank branch in Old Bridge on Sept. 26, the report said.
The charges against Hart are merely accusations; he is presumed innocent until his is proven guilty.
