RAHWAY – City Redevelopment Agency Commissioner Matt Dobrowloski resigned effective Sept. 25, citing potential conflicts caused by his work as a Realtor in the area, according to a Rahway Rising report.

Mayor Samson Steinman hopes to present replacement candidates to the City Council at its Oct. 15 meeting, according to the report.

Dobrowloski has a long record of service to the community, spearheading ‘taste of the town’ events and other promotions that highlighted the transformation of the downtown area.

He is a a former commissioner and chairman of the Rahway Parking Authority, current chair of The Rahway Taste of Spring, and  a member of the Rahway Arts District board.
