CLARK — Students Nicole Parlavecchio’s fourth grade class at the Frank K. Hehnly School in Clark watched a video from YouTube star “Kid President” dedicated to students and teachers during today’s morning meeting.  Kid President’s video addressed topics including bullying, paying attention and respect. The students in Parlavecchio’s class reflected on the video after hearing Kid President speak and shared their thoughts.

The Kid President character, portrayed by Tennessee fourth grader Robbie Novak, was originally created by Freed-Hardeman University Office of Marketing and University Relations to promote the school’s annual benefit dinner. Kid President has since become a YouTube sensation, even appearing in a video with President Barack Obama.

Fourth graders from Parlavecchio’s class recommend watching this video.
