file0001318155741EDISON – A Fall Happening is coming to Edison and the whole family is invited. The Township will celebrate autumn with this 2nd annual event on Saturday, Oct. 26. The Harvest Festi-Fall will take place from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. at Elder Park, 1070 Grove Avenue, with a variety of activities for the entire family.

Food and craft vendors, kids’ games, pumpkin decorating, and face painting will all be part of this FREE event along with DJ SUE energizing the crowd with dance contests for young and the young at heart.

Highlighting the “Fest” will be three contests that will interest everyone. You can show off your creative “knifing” skills at the“Pumpkin Carving Contest”. The whole family can get involved in the“Scarecrow Building Contest”; you bring the clothing and the straw will be supplied. The most interesting contest will be the“Pet/Person Contest”. You and your pet will dress up for a judged costume parade. This will surely highlight the day.

Add a Bounce House along with a new Children’s Halloween Costume Contest, and the day promises fun activities for almost everyone.
