Rahway Police Arrest Accused Drug Dealers

police-tapeRAHWAY – Police arrested two men Wednesday who are charged with distributing drugs, according to Rahway police Detective Capt. Joseph Simonetti.

Detectives executed a search warrant on Nathaniel Young, 18, a resident of the 1400 block of Church Street, on Sept. 25. Police seized 21 bags of marijuana, a small amount of oxycodone and a few hundred dollars in cash, according to Simonetti. Detective Kevin Wronski conducted the month-long investigation.

Young was charged with possession of marijuana, possession with the intent to distribute marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of oxycodone.

Demarcio Little, 20, of Linden was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana and possession with the intent to distribute marijuana

Both suspects were released on their own recognizance pending a court date. The charges against them are merely accusations and they are presumed innocent until proven guilty in court.

The Rahway Police will continue its efforts to identify and apprehend those responsible for possessing and distributing illegal drugs, Simonetti said.
