CLARK — Im Belverio’s Kindergarten class from Valley Road School in Clark is investigating apples this week. Children used their five senses to explore apples inside and out.

Children listened to many apple related stories, compared apples to each other, measured, weighed and created a chart to describe their apple findings. They also investigated the properties and taste of the different colored apples and created a graph to record the results of which kind of apples the class liked best – it was the green apple! The students ended the unit by creating an apple book telling all about what they learned from the investigations.

At the end of the unit, the class said,  “We love science.”
