LINDEN — Linden High School junior Matthew Tohon won five medals in the National Junior Disabilities Championships held in Rochester, Minn. this July. He earned a gold medal in his 800-meter wheelchair race, a silver medal in the 200-meter wheelchair race, and bronze medals for the 400 and 100-meter wheelchair races. He also received a bronze medal in the 50-meter distance competition in archery. He also participated in the Junior International Wheelchair & Amputee Sports (IWAS) competition that took place in August in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico.  (Photo by Tohon Family)
