Roselle Park Police Arrest 3 On Drug Charges

ROSELLE PARK — Police arrested three people who were allegedly involved in drug deals last week.

Christopher Breen, 29, and Grace Covino, 30, both of Union Township, were arrested Tuesday on narcotics charges after detectives observed them making a suspected drug deal on Elm Street.

Roselle Park police said the couple had several tablets of Oxycontin when they were stopped on Chestnut Street. They were charged with narcotics possession and loitering to commit a drug offense.

Police also arrested Christopher Parker, 32, of Roselle Park as he returned to his Elm Street residence after he allegedly conducted a drug deal in Newark. Police said they found 10 packets of heroin in his possession. Parker was charged with narcotics possession and distribution and was taken to Union County Jail in lieu of $25,000 bail.

The charges against the invdividuals are merely accusations; they are presumed innocent until proven guilty in court.
