Police Arrest Wanted Linden Man After He Went To Police Station To Ask About His Brother

LINDEN – Officers arrested a Linden man on attempted homicide charges on Wednesday after he went to the Linden police station to ask about his younger brother who had been arrested on drug charges earlier in the day, according to a Star-Ledger report.

Roberto Moreno-Duque, 23,  was wanted on a Union County Sheriff’s Department warrant in connection with a homicide, according to the report.

Bryan Moreno-Duque, 18, was charged with possession of a handgun, possession of a weapon during a drug offense, possession of a defaced firearm, possession of cocaine and marijuana, and distribution within a school and park zone, according to the report.

The suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in court.
