Playhouse 22 Kicks Off 55th Anniversary With “The World Goes ‘Round”

worldgoesroundlogo1EAST BRUNSWICK – Playhouse 22, East Brunswick’s Community Theater, begins it 55th anniversary season with The World Goes ‘Round, opening Friday, Sept. 20 at the East Brunswick Community Arts Center. The show runs through Oct. 6. Performances are Friday evenings at 8 p.m., Saturdays at 8 p.m. and Sundays at 3 p.m. There is no performance on Saturday, Sept. 28, but there will be on Thursday, Sept. 26.

Directed by Bill Seesselberg of South Plainfield, The World Goes ‘Round is a musical anthology of songs written by the duo of Kander and Ebb. They composed hundreds of well-known songs ranging from Chicago, Funny Lady and Cabaret. The cast stars Jen Hanselman of New Brunswick, Pam Jorgensen of Franklin, Cristy Miller of Metuchen, Bill Osman of North Brunswick and Mark Piltz of South Plainfield.

Playhouse 22 is East Brunswick’s Community Theater troupe and is located at the East Brunswick Community Arts Center at 721 Cranbury Road, East Brunswick.
