BURLINGTON CITY – Former Rahway Mayor James Kennedy is working to revitalize Burlington City, according to a report.

Kennedy’s Skye Consulting company received a $54,000 contract from the city in May and has so far conducted a value-asset analysis and attracted interest from investors, according to the report. The company also expects to present a conceptual plan for the city’s waterfront area.

The company’s website says Skye Consulting has also been hired to provide economic revitalization strategies for the Somerset County community of Bound Brook.
