Union County College’s Women’s Soccer Team Off To A 3-0 Start

CRANFORD – Union County College’s Women’s Soccer team is undefeated after their first three games.

In their first game of the season they defeated the County College of Morris by a score of 3-2 at Morris. On Sept. 7, in their first home game of the season, they defeated Manor College by a score of 17-0. Goals and assists were provided by; Carolina Munoz who had four goals and five assists, Francesca Catananzi with three goals and six assists, Nikkel Porter scored 3 goals, Tamoya Brown scored 2 goals, Bryanna Moncion scored one goal and made three assists, Kristine Veneles made one goal and had one assist, Talia Pena scored one goal and had one assist, Gabriela Cordova scored one goal, Maria Campodonico scored one goal, and Aslin Cabrera made one assist.

On September 10, in their second home game of the season, the women’s team continued their perfect start to the season with a 3-0 win against Bucks County Community College. Goals and assists were provided by Francesca Cantanazi who scored two goals, Bryanna Moncion who scored one goal, Nikell Porter who had one assist, Kristine Veneles made one assist, and Elizabeth Da Silva had one assist). Goalkeeper Maria Campodonico recorded her second clean sheet of the season with three saves.
