CLARK — The Clark Public Library will present Patrick Garner’s History Alive! Aesop’s Fables, an updated telling of the classic tales, on Sunday, Sept. 22 at 2 p.m. It’s all Aesop with some Uncle Remus and a little Looney Tunes thrown in for good measure. A performance designed for children, but certain to keep the adults in the audience thoroughly entertained.

Garner is a 20-year professional actor whose credits range from street fairs to Broadway. Most recently a cast member of Broadway’s Gypsy, he also starred as “Wilbur the Pig” in the world premiere of the Lincoln Center Institute’s Charlotte’s Web, the only version authorized by E.B. White.

This program is free and open to the public. Due to space limitations, registration is required for children ages 4 – 10 years old. Visit the library’s online calendar at www.clarklibrary.org, call 732-388-5999 or stop by the library at 303 Westfield Avenue.
