Three Union County College Teams Win First Games Of The Season

CRANFORD – On Thursday, Sept. 5, Union County College had three teams win their first games of the season.

The Men’s Soccer team played Raritan Valley Community College at home in Wheeler Park in Linden and beat them by a score of 3-0. The Women’s Soccer team was on the road and played the County College of Morris and won by a score of 3-2. The Women’s Volleyball team went up against Passaic County Community College and beat them in three matches for the win.

The next Men’s Soccer game will be played at Drew University at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 7. The Women’s Soccer team also plays on Sept. 7 and will face Manor College at 12 p.m. at Wheeler Park in Linden. The Women’s Volleyball team will take on Bergen Community College at their campus beginning at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 12.
