MIDDLESEX COUNTY — Participants of the Middlesex County Pancreatic Cancer Walk and Softball Tournament helped raise a record $32,000 for pancreatic cancer research this year. The Middlesex County Office of Health Services and the Middlesex County Chronic Disease Coalition, in conjunction with the Edison Municipal Alliance, sponsored the event to raise community awareness about the disease and raise funds to aid research. The funds were donated to the Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey.
