CLARK — Art lessons of painting in oils, watercolor and pastel continue at the Studio of Aleksandra Nowak, located at the Polish Cultural Foundation, 177 Broadway, Bldg #3, Room #1, Clark, just of exit 135 from the Garden State Parkway.

After the short break, art classes continue on Sept. 5 and 7. Those who wish to improve their painting skills and absolute beginners are all welcome, and you can join anytime.  Classes are held every Thursday 6:30-9:00 p.m. and every Saturday 9-11 a.m. Sign for just (one) or monthly (four) sessions.

Individual attention is given to each student to accomplish a successful painting composition. Special attention is directed to drawing with focus on proportions and perspective. Learning the technique step by step with emphasis on color mixing and color theory. Subjects include still life, portrait and landscape. Students work at the studio from still life displays, live model and selected references. Easels and tables are available, but students bring their own materials.
