Aug. 26 at 7:09 p.m. – Police took a report of a burglary to a residence on Georgian Drive. The incident is under investigation. P.O. Christian Lott was the Investigating Officer.

Aug. 27 at 8:36 a.m. – Police took a report of an attempted burglary to a residence on Georgian Drive. The incident is under investigation. P.O. Kenneth Sarnecki was the Investigating Officer.

Aug. 27 at 8:40 p.m. – At Headquarters, police arrested Roselle resident Damian Vite, 49, who was charged with possessing a fraudulent insurance card. He was subsequently released on his own recognizance pending a court date. P.O. Kenneth Gaulette was the Arresting Officer.

Aug. 28 at 9:09 p.m. – In the vicinity of Virginia Avenue and Boynton Avenue, police arrested Westfield resident David Lanza, 27, who was charged with possession of CDS. He was subsequently released on his own recognizance pending a court date. P.O. Kenneth Gaulette was the Arresting Officer.

Aug. 29 at 10:34 a.m. – Police took a report of a burglary to a motor vehicle that was parked at a residence  on Ivy Street. The incident is under investigation. P.O. Kenneth Sarnecki was the Investigating Officer.

Aug. 29 at 3:18 p.m. – In the vicinity of Union County Parkway and Crescent Parkway, police arrested Roselle Park resident John Meek, 22, on outstanding warrants totaling $3,824 from Roselle Park, Garwood and Cranford. He was subsequently turned over to the Roselle Park Police Department. Det. Antonio Manata was the Arresting Officer.

Aug. 30 at 10:42 a.m. – At his Amelia Drive home, police arrested Alan Stern, 57, who was charged with distribution of CDS. He was subsequently released on his own recognizance pending a court date. Det. George Marmarou was the Arresting Officer.

Aug. 30 at 3:27 p.m. –  In the vicinity of the 200 block of Westfield Avenue, police arrested Randolph resident Jordana Wood, 21, who was charged with possession of CDS and DWI. She was subsequently released on her own recognizance pending a court date. P.O. John Ehling was the Arresting Officer.

Aug. 31 at 2:16 p.m. –  At 76 Central Avenue, police arrested Linden resident Arlene Pankiw, 68, who was charged with shoplifting from the Shop-Rite Supermarket at 76 Central Avenue. She was subsequently released on her own recognizance pending a court date. P.O. Keith Meehan was the Arresting Officer.
