[PHOTO] Trinitas Representatives Talk About Nursing Camp On Mayor’s Cable Show

ELIZABETH — Lisa Liss, director of Volunteer Services at Trinitas Regional Medical Center, Pat Haydu, RN, and Sharon Panama, student at the Upper Academy of Elizabeth High School, were outfitted with microphones by Public Access Coordinator Kimberley Davis-Parker before their interview with Elizabeth Mayor, J. Christina Bollwage (left) for his weekly cable show, “Our City.”


Second from left, Lisa Lisa, founder and creator of the hospital’s nursing camp summer program which has completed its 10th year, and Pat Haydu, retired Elizabeth educator who has facilitated the program over the past decade, spoke about how the program gives teens  a first hand look at nursing and other health care occupations. Sharon Panama, far right, spoke about her experience as a 2013 Nursing Camp participant and how it has convinced her that nursing is the career path she wants to pursue.

The interview will be cablecast on CableVision Channel 18 in Elizabeth on Monday, Sept. 2 at 8:30 pm, Wednesday, Sept. 4 at 7:30 p.m. and Fri., Sept. 6 at 6:30 p.m.
