Summit Business Collects Socks For Soldiers

SUMMIT — In honor of their second year in Summit, Roosters Men’s Grooming Center will be collecting donations for Soldiers the entire month of September. Local residents are encouraged to bring in packages of new, boot style wool cotton blend socks to the Roosters Men’s Grooming Center, which is located in Summit at the Promenade at 545 Morris Avenue. Socks are needed for both male and female soldiers.

“At Roosters, we value our community, and we want to share our milestone celebration by honoring those serving in the military and their families,” said Jody Frank, Owner of Roosters Men’s’ Grooming Center in Summit and lifelong resident of Milburn. “We are delighted to have the opportunity support a meaningful cause and we are honored to help those in need.”

Roosters will also be hosting an open house to commemorate the company’s second anniversary of its establishment in Summit on Tuesday, Sept. 24 from 4:30 to 7 p.m. The party will be held at Roosters’ location on Morris Avenue, in Summit, where the establishment was started in 2011. Rooster’s open house will be a festive affair featuring ‘how to” hair product demonstrations and refreshments.

Roosters Men’s Grooming Center offers men’s haircuts and full barber services. Rooster’s open house celebration is open to the public. Guests are encouraged to bring donations of Socks for Soldiers to the event. For more information,  call 908-516-2974 or email
