Summit Homes Suffer Lightning Damage

SUMMIT – Two homes in Summit suffered damage from lighting strikes this morning, according to a Star-Ledger report.

Shortly before 9 a.m., lightning struck a tree outside an Oak Ridge Avenue home, and the current reached the second floor of the home where it scorched some sheet rock, according to the report. Across the street, another home’s alarm system was damaged. No injuries were reported at either home.
