YM-YWHA Announces September Classes

UNION – The YM-YWHA of Union will host several classes beginning the week of Sept. 9.

Rabbi Stanley L. Asekoff will be reviewing the Book of Job every Wednesday at 10:15 a.m. beginning on Sept. 11.  The course, “The Book of Job and Why Bad Things Happen to Good People,” is open to the community and is free for “Y” members. (There is a $5 per class charge for non-members.)

Professor Gertrude Brenner will teach “Jewish Culture through Literature, Art and Film” on Mondays at 1:30 p.m., beginning Sept. 9. The classes are open to the community.

Dr. Ken Mehlman will teach a nutrition and health class on Thursdays at 12:30 p.m., beginning Sept. 12.  The class is open to the community and is free of charge.
