Local Girl Competes In Pageant

EAST BRUNSWICK – Eight-year-old Nicole Elizabeth George has been named a state finalist in the National American Miss New Jersey Pageant, which is being held on Thursday, Aug. 16 and Friday, Aug. 17 at the Hilton Hotel in East Brunswick. This pageant is for girls ages 7 through 9.

The winner will receive a $1,000 cash award, the official crown and banner, a bouquet of roses and air transportation to compete at the national pageant at Disneyland® in California.

The National American Miss Pageants, which are open to girls ages 4-18 in five separate age categories, are dedicated to celebrating America’s greatness and encouraging its future leaders. Families interested in learning more may visit www.namiss.com for more information.

Miss George’s activities include lacrosse, gymnastics, talent show and swimming. She also enjoys acting, modeling, drawing, spending time with friends and riding bikes.
