Aug. 6 at 2:06 p.m. –  Police took a report of a theft of a GPS from a vehicle that was parked in front of a residence on Wheatsheaf Road. The incident is under investigation. P.O. Christopher Tuccio was the Investigating Officer.

Aug. 8 at 2:25 p.m. –  Police took a report of a theft of items from a garage at a Chestnut Street address. The incident is under investigation. P.O. Marty Venezio was the Investigating Officer.

Aug. 9 at 11:01 a.m. – In the vicinity of Main Street in Rahway, police arrested Brick resident Melissa Pietrangelo, 24, on an outstanding warrant in the amount of $1,500 for contempt of court. She was subsequently transported to the Union County Jail. Det. Don DeAquino was the Arresting Officer.
